The city of many faces

City of Many FacesĀ is a portrait poster series exploring the individuality and stories that make each person unique. Through expressive portraiture and typography the project transforms personal identities into a collection of distinct visual compositions.

2024 -- Branding & Identity

ForĀ City of Many Faces, I interviewed people around my school and photographed each person to create a portrait based on their image. I asked simple questions about who they were— their name, where they were from, and most importantly, why they came to New York. These conversations became the foundation for a series of portraits that celebrate the different people, backgrounds, and stories that make up the city.

EVERY FACE HAS A STORY

Final POster Display

The final portraits are rolled and tied with black bows, arranged together in a clear display that presents each face as part of a larger collection. The result transforms the individual posters into a cohesive portrait archive of the city.
